Jeff is an Artist & Humanist in the golden business. 

A 35-year avante guarde veteran marketer in the commercial world, he pivoted in 2016 from being a self-described “revenue monkey” for others visions and creations to the creator of his own for the first time. Jeff is the designer and creator of regenerative nature fashion For Benefit One Golden Thread, devoted to a philosophy to honor that which is golden in people and the Planet.  

“I cut my story-telling teeth in the late 80s and early 90’s in the ad business with Bozell Worldwide & Ketchum Communications creating ad campaigns for global consumer packaged goods brands, Jeff said. This experience lit my story telling fire to better people’s lives, and I became an evolving entrepreneur with varying degrees of non-success. Every one was a blessing, and I was privileged to hone my craft through deep partnerships with icons like Virgin, Apple, Rolling Stone, The Grammys, Sony Music, and Whole Foods along the way.”

In recognition of Jeff’s creative ingenuity and industry achievements, he garnered the Trendsetter Award (2012) as a business innovator, and earned a spot on the Counselor Hot List for creativity (2015). 

Tasting success yet unfulfilled after a life spent amplifying other people’s visions, and as an example of never too late to answer the calling of a dream, Jeff lept with no net to became a first time clothing designer at age 52, as the architect of his own creative vision, the “regeneration revolution” expressed as a Fashion Proactivist. His “lovestyle” clothing brand with “unisexy” minimalist designs derives its fabric from “super nature” beech trees and is committed to planting a tree for every product sold, thus making a net positive impact for the Planet. The clothing, however, is merely an alibi for a deeper reminder story: That each of us is golden inside, connected by our nature as One Golden Thread. One Golden Thread is a registered Public Benefit Company wherein social good is at the core of its give-back impact model.

Jeff was honored to have One Golden Thread and the entire OGT team lauded by Forbes (2021) for “Raising the sustainability bar for Gen R: Regeneration”. 

Jeff also continues to lift benevolent brands and individuals through “Consculting,” his creative brand language mastery aimed at uncovering the gold for mission-driven livelihoods and lives. Jeff is a regular desired guests on personal transformation podcasts.

Jeff considers his greatest life achievement mentoring for a decade two at-risk teens as part of America’s Big Brother’s Program, personally recognized as “Bay Area Big Brother of the Year” (2011).
